Low in cost and high in value. MINI-EYE™ is a full line of very economical, miniature photoelectric sensors for general sensing tasks. The rugged MINI-EYE™ sensors are waterproof and enclosed in high-impact plastic housings for use in hostile environments. They are also immune to indirect ambient light and strobes. They are great for material handling, sorting, web break detection, counting, inspection, orientation...and much more!

MINI-EYE™ sensors offer a selection of thru-beam, polarized retroreflective and proximity modes, Class 1 red laser, infrared (IR) or red LED light sources, and your choice of NPN or PNP output transistors. All models are available in front or 18 mm mounting, with quick disconnect or potted cables, and operate in either Light "ON" or Dark "ON" sensing modes.

COMPACT VERSITAL HOUSING
Select from a compact front mount version that is only a 1/2 in. deep and .74 in. wide or 18mm threaded version with side mounting holes.

PERFORMANCE
600us (1.1ms, thru-beam) speed of responce. Polarized retroreflective range is 12ft. no proxing off shinny surfaces. Thru-beam range is 65ft.

SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT

Light/Dark operation is selected by wire.

Infrared Light Source
Invisible light – recommended in opaque object sensing applications. Infrared LED light source provides long-range sensing in either Beam Make or Beam Break modes. Infrared light maximizes the sensor’s ability to penetrate contamination found in harsh environments.

Red (Visible) Light Source
Visible red LED light source recommended for sensing transparent/translucent objects. Outperforms infrared light in many moderate to low contrast applications. Also recommended for use with plastic fiberoptic light guides.
